A pop-up retail experience in Los Angeles to launch Tread, a line of sustainable sneakers from Everlane.

I worked with the talented team at Imprint Projects to help create a month-long pop-up retail experience in downtown Los Angeles for the launch of Tread, a line of sustainable sneakers from Everlane. While developing the design of the space and event programming, we had to constantly consider our aesthetic intent through the lens of sustainability, authenticity, and community – no virgin, single-use plastic appeared in the pop-up, reflecting Tread’s eco ethos.

This activation included a dedicated website, a social media push with unique content for the @treadbyeverlane Instagram account, an environmental build-out of the retail space, wild postings, print collateral, sourcing sustainable materials for free shoe-cleaning kits, as well as interactive/educational moments throughout the space.

Read more about the launch of Tread and this DTLA pop-up, as featured on WWD.
